Built in 1859 and 1869 respectively, these two homes have been preserved by the Molalla Area Historical Society. Their annual quilt show is held in May each year and the Apple Festival takes place in October.

Molalla Buckeroo     

 

The Molalla Buckeroo is one of the oldest rodeos in the United States.  The first was held in 1913 and has been held annually with the exception of the years during the wars.  It is a sanctioned PRCA Rodeo attracting many of the top cowboys from around the country.

Molalla Train Park

 

The Molalla Train Park is operated by the Pacific Northwest Live Steamers non-profit organization.  They build and lovingly maintain several 1.5 scale steam engines and cars.

Enjoy a picnic on the grounds and then take a ride on one or more trains around the four acre park.  Free admission, donations are welcomed.

Just east of Molalla, a quiet weekend morning can be interrupted by the sound of Radio Control Airplanes zooming over an airfield designed exclusively for their use.  The Molalla RC Association hosts several championships each year.

We are a 52-acre working elk ranch with approximately 70 head of Rocky Mountain Elk. Besides the elk, we have a small petting zoo with pygmy goats, miniature donkeys,  miniature horse, turkeys, sheep, and chickens. 

 

If you would like to spend a night or two with us, we'd be honored to accommodate you in our home as we operate a Bed and Breakfast.
